Margaret Atwood’s power

Triggered by an interview with Margaret Atwood in the Dutch newspaper NRC I went looking for more information on the political power of her work. Women use the ‘Handmaid’s’ outfit from Atwood’s 1985 book ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ in their protest against the Pro Life (‘Reversing Roe’) movement and against the appointment of Brett Kavanaugh as Associate Justice of the US Supreme Court. I found that the New York Times has documented news, commentary and articles on her work here. A lot of interesting reading material for political care ethics!
